ABOUT THE COURSE:
According to CertCities.com 2006 annual reader survey, the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential has ranked among the “Hottest Certifications” for the third consecutive year among professionals planning to gain certifications within the next 12 months. This survey shows an increase in membership from 2004 to 2005 of over 39% and a total of 87,776 new PMP’s in 2005.

There are over 185,894 PMP’s worldwide who provide project management services in 125 countries. The growth over last eight years is in the range of 20 times from 1998 to 2006. Many corporation require the PMP® credential for an individual to qualify for employment and advance within the corporation. The accreditation is the world’s most recognized credential for individuals associated with project management. India’s president is the patron of PMI India. The Indian government is planning to make global PMP certification compulsory for its project managers. China government national had called for consultants to exhibit high level of project management skills and qualification. The industry need for certified project managers is about 30,000 for year 2008. The recent European Union Resolution called for the need high level of project management skills and qualification in the future European legislation on regional funds which represent more than a third of European Union (EU) budget.

Professionals with the PMP certification are sought after by clients from the Middle East countries to run their projects.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

4. Know how to apply for the PMP® examination
5. Learn techniques for effectively coordinating and managing all aspects of a project including team leadership, project risk and financial analysis, evaluation and control techniques, project planning and decision-making.
